I am a sixth year graduate student at the University of Georgia, working with David Gay. This year I am studying at the Max Planck Institute of Mathematics in Bonn, Germany. I received my B.S. in math from Bates College in 2010. My research interests are in smooth low dimensional topology, including knotted surfaces, quandles, and trisections of 4-manifolds.
